We will look into that and get back to the members.

Dave discussed the ballpark trail that runs across Mr. Abdellas property and the fact that Mr. Abdella wants the club to donate time and money to his fireworks display.  Mr. Abdellas idea was to have club members direct traffic, collect donation and provide security for the fireworks.  He also suggested putting a stipend on the membership dues for money towards the fireworks.  The club officers had already decided that none of that could be an option for legal and ethically issues.  Dave suggested to the club that we have 50/50 raffle tickets printed and if the establishments in town were willing to help sell the tickets we could have a 50/50 raffle to support the fireworks.  After much discussion a motion was made that we take a vote on how many where in favor of proposing the 50/50 idea to Mr. Abdella and how many where in favor of just closing the trail.  A vote was taken and a vast majority of the members voted to keep the trail closed.
