Yes, it’s that time of year again… Once again we are
going to try to keep everyone informed of club news via a newsletter.
The news letters will be updated on our web site. If you do not have
internet access you may request a newsletter be mailed to you. Attached
is some information regarding memberships, meetings and a brief summary
of what has happened over the summer.
Meetings
Club meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of
the month from September to March at 7:30 p.m. Please see attached
meeting schedule for dates and places. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Membership
Attached is the new
membership application. Please take
the time to fill it out completely and return with your dues either by
mail or in person at one of our scheduled meetings. Please remember in
order to get the reduced registration fee you must be able to provide
NYS DMV with a voucher. The club will give you a voucher when we
receive your dues. If you mail in your dues we will mail your voucher
to the address provided us on your membership application. Please be
sure to print legibly and use the name and address as it appears on your
registration.
Storage Facility
The storage facility has is nearly complete. It is just
lacking a few finishing touches. It is now usable and has stored the
club equipment all summer. Thank you to those members who worked so
diligently on the project.
Annual Poker Run
Our annual poker run is scheduled for February 9th
with a rain date of February 23th. More updates will be
available on this in future newsletters.
Sponsorship
Please sponsor our newsletter. Individual sponsorship
will be $10.00 per season, your name or saying will be placed under the
sponsor section of each newsletter. A Business sponsorship will be
$30.00 per season and will consist of an ad on our web site. Sponsor

Course
A list of safety courses
for NYS should be on the NYS Parks and Recreation site soon. The web
site is

Please remember -Youth ages 14 through 17 years old may operate a
snowmobile without adult supervision if they have completed a snowmobile
safety training course recognized by the State of New York. Youth ages
10 through 13 may operate a snowmobile, on lands upon which snowmobiling
is allowed, if they have completed a snowmobile safety training course
recognized by the State of New York and are accompanied by (within 500
feet of) a person who is at least 18 years of age. Children under 10
years old or under age 14 without a safety certificate may operate a
snowmobile only on lands owned or leased by their parent or guardian
Trail Maintenance
The club would really like to get more members involved
in trail maintenance and grooming. It is very difficult to try to
maintain the trails with the limited help we receive. Anyone willing
to help maintain the trails please contact Dave Briot at 835-6962.
