| Yes, it’s that time of year
again… This year the club has decided to try something new, by sending a bi-
monthly newsletter. Attached is some information regarding memberships, meetings
and a brief summary of what has happened over the summer.
Meetings-
Club meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month from
September to March at 7:30 p.m. Please see attached
meeting schedule for dates and places.
Everyone is welcome to join us.
Membership- Attached is
the new membership
application. Please take the time to fill it out completely and return with
your dues either by mail or in person at one of our scheduled meetings. Please
remember in order to get the reduced registration fee you must be able to
provide NYS DMV with a voucher. The club will give you a voucher when we
receive your dues. If you mail in your dues we will mail your voucher to the
address provided us on your membership application.
Storage
Facility- Work is
progressing on the new club storage facility. The land has been filled and
graded. The slab has been poured, walls and roof are being put up. A big thank
you to all the workers who have devoted their time and energy to help get the
building this far, it is greatly appreciated. Anyone wishing to help please
contact Dave Briot at 835-6962
Annual
Poker Run- Our annual
poker run is scheduled for February 10th with a rain date of February
24th. More updates will be available on this in future newsletters.
Sponsorship- Please
sponsor our newsletter. Individual
sponsorship will be $10.00 per season, your name or saying will be placed under
the sponsor section of each newsletter. A Business sponsorship will be $25.00
per season and will consist of a business card size ad on each newsletter.
Newsletters will be sent out every month from September to March and will
include updates on club news, events and business.
Summer Picnic- Unfortunately we had to cancel the
picnic that was planned for Saturday July 22 due to the rain. We did reschedule
for Sunday the 23rd however we did not have the turn out we were
hoping for. We did try to contact those who responded to let them know we had
changed the day but even though the day turned out to be beautiful only about 15
people showed.
Safety Course- A list of safety courses for NYS
should be on the NYS Parks and Recreation site soon. The web site is
www.nysparks.state.ny.us

without adult or other supervision if they have completed a snowmobile safety
